DECISION ON THE ELECTION OF TEN (10) MEMBERS OF THE
PEACE AND SECURITY COUNCIL OF THE AFRICAN UNION

The Assembly,
TAKES NOTE of the election of ten (10) Members of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union by the Executive Council;
APPOINTS the following ten (10) States as Members of the Peace and Security Council for a two-year term effective from March 2012:

2. | Congo | Central Region |
3. | Djibouti | Eastern Region |
4. | Tanzania | Eastern Region |
5. | Egypt | Northern Region |
6. | Angola | Southern Region |
7. | Lesotho | Southern Region |
8. | Cote d’Ivoire | Western Region |
9. | Gambia | Western Region |
10. | Guinea | Western Region |
