DECISION ON PRODUCTIVITY, COMPETITIVENESS
AND INDUSTRIALIZATION

The Assembly,
TAKES NOTE of the Report of Seventh Joint Annual Meetings of the Economic Commission for Africa Conference of African Ministers of Finance Planning and Economic Development and African Union Conference of Ministers of Economy and Finance;
INVITES the Commission, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, the Pan-African Productivity Association and other development partners to organize regular activities to foster a culture of productivity in Africa and building productivity capacity management at all levels;
REQUESTS the Commission to follow-up on the implementation of the decision and report to the Assembly on progress in the implementation.
