1. Citation and commencement
This Act may be cited as the East African Community Appropriation Act 2005 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of July 2004.2. Issue of money out of the Community’s Budget
The Secretary General may issue out of the Budget of the East African Community and apply towards the supply granted to the Community for the services of the year ending on the 30th June, 2005, the sum of United States Dollars eleven million eight hundred ninety two thousand eight hundred and ninety nine.3. Appropriation of money granted
The sums granted by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes specified in the Schedule to this Act.4. Payment for services in the previous financial year
Any part of the sums granted by section 2 of this Act which has been, or is issued from the Budget of the East African Community on or before the 30th day of June, 2005 shall be available until a date to be determined by the Council of Minister, not being later than the 31st day of December, 2005 for making payments which become due during the year ending on the 30th day of June, 2005.History of this document
