Regulation C/REG.5/12/01 Approving the Budget of the Community Court of Justice for the 2002 Financial Year

The Council of Ministers,MINDFUL of Articles 10, 11 and 12 of the Treaty establishing the Council of Ministers and defining its composition and functions;MINDFUL of Article 15 of the Treaty establishing the Community Court of Justice;MINDFUL of Protocol A/P.1/7/91 defining the status, composition, powers, procedure and other issues concerning the Community Court of Justice;MINDFUL of the provisions of Article 69 of the Treaty which relate to the budget of the Community;MINDFUL of the Financial Regulations and Manual of Accounting Procedures of the Institutions of ECOWAS amended by Regulation C/REG.2/12/95;HAVING CONSIDERED the budget of the Community Court of Justice proposed by the Twenty-Seventh Meeting of the Administration and Finance Commission held in Abuja, from 27 November to 3 December, 2001ENACTS

Article 1:

The budget of the Community Court of Justice for 2002 Financial Year, balanced in income and expenditure at the sum of two million, nine hundred and forty thousand, four hundred and ninety-five Units of Accounts (2,940,495 UA) is hereby approved.

Article 2:

The total amount of two million nine hundred and forty thousand four hundred and ninety-five Units of Accounts (2,940,495 UA) shall be derived from annual contributions of Member States.

Article 3:

This Regulation shall be published by the Executive Secretariat in the Official Journal of the Community within thirty (30) days of its signature by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. It shall also be published by each Member State in its National Gazette within the same time frame.
