Regulation C/REG.6/12/01 Approving the Budget of the West African Health Organisation for the 2002 Financial Year

The Council of Ministers,MINDFUL of Articles 10, 11 and 12 of the Treaty establishing the Council of Ministers and defining its composition and functions;MINDFUL of Protocol A/P2/7/87 on the establishment of the West African Health Organisation;MINDFUL of the Provisions of Article 69 of the Treaty which relate to the budget of the Community;MINDFUL of the Financial Regulations and Manual of Accounting Procedures of the Institutions of ECOWAS amended by Regulation C/REG.2/12/95;HAVING CONSIDERED the budget of the West African Health Organisation proposed by the Twenty-Seventh meeting of the Administration and Finance Com­mission held in Abuja, from 27 November to 3 De­cember, 2001ENACTS

Article 1

The budget of the West African Health Organisation for the 2002 Financial year, balanced in income and ex­penditure at the sum of two million nine hundred and twenty-five thousand nine hundred and sixty-four Units of Accounts (2,925,964 UA) is hereby ap­proved.

Article 2

The total amount of two million nine hundred and twenty-five thousand nine hundred and sixty-four Units of Accounts (2,925,964 UA) shall be derived from the annual contributions of Member States.

Article 3

This Regulation shall be published by the Execu­tive Secretariat in the Official Journal of the Com­munity within thirty (30) days of its signature by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. It shall also be published by each Member State in its National Gazette within the same time-frame
