NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that His Excellency the President in accordance with regulation 30G of the Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Regulations, 2020, has authorised that societies may meet and at any one time the number of persons attending a meeting shall not exceed 50.Every meeting shall have a host or convener. The host or convener of a meeting shall be responsible for the adherence to COVID-19 protocols for persons attending the meeting.The following societies may meet as set out below —(a)faith based organizations;(b)any club, company, partnership or association registered by the Registrar of Societies; and(c)political parties, including central committees of political parties.For the avoidance of doubt faith based organizations shall have a maximum of two religious services per week and shall not have more than 50 persons at any one service.Government Notice No. 304 of 2020 is hereby revoked.Dr. Malaki Tshipayage,Director of Health Services.
