Ministerial Order: Airport Company South Africa (ACSA)

I, Mr Fikile Mbalula the Minister of Transport under section 10(1)(a) of the Airport Company Act, (Act No. 44 of 1993) make the Ministerial Order as set out in the Schedule.

Schedule

(1)The Minister of Transport under section 10(1)(a) of the Airport Company Act, (Act No. 44 of 1993) make the following Ministerial Orders that:
(a)The Airport Company South Africa SOC Limited (ACSA) must comply and implement the International Air Services (COVID-19 restrictions on the movement of Air Travel) Regulations, 2020.
(b)The Airport Company South Africa SOC Limited (ACSA) must ensure that an aircraft landing in South Africa, for a technical stop or refuelling be permitted at International Airports designated as a Port of Entry.
(c)The Airports Company South Africa SOC Limited (ACSA) must ensure that for the duration of the Regulations, it will provide its own personnel with the appropriate safety gear and equipment.
(d)The Airports Company South Africa SOC Limited (ACSA) must provide adequate facilities for washing of hands and disinfection equipment for visitors, Airport personnel and management for the duration of the Regulations.
(2)This order shall remain in force until further notice.
