Maureen Bansah

Maureen Bansah is a Ghanaian lawyer pursuing her Master of Laws (LLM) at Cornell Law School. Prior to her enrollment at Cornell, Maureen was a trainee associate in commercial litigation and corporate law at N. Dowuona and Company, a top law firm in Ghana. She was also a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). In Ghana, Maureen was actively involved in mentoring high school students, and took on a project in 2018 to provide pro-bono advisory services to a start-up e-commerce company. Her interest areas are International Trade and Policy, as well as Commercial Arbitration. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Ghana, and a Barrister-at-Law Certificate from Ghana School of Law. She has been admitted to practice law in Ghana since October 2018.
