DECISION OF THE MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE ON THE
SCALE OF ASSESSMENT AND CONTRIBUTIONS

The Executive Council,

1. TAKES NOTE of the report of the Ministerial Committee and APPROVES the recommendations contained therein as follows;

2. URGES the Commission, to provide all necessary support to the Ministerial Committee to review the scale of assessment to be implemented starting from 2019, as per Assembly Decision Assembly/AU/Dec.578(XXV) of June 2015;

3. REQUESTS the Ministerial Committee to undertake a review of the Sanction Regime for consideration and adoption by the January 2018 Summit after a wide consultation process through a series of meetings and with the support of the required expertise.
