Education and Training
Under Article 12, the Maputo Protocol calls on States Parties to ensure equality in substance and access to education while preventing abuse and gender-based violations in learning institutions.
It also provides that States Parties shall take specific positive action to promote the right to education and the participation and inclusion of women in pursuing these rights.
