The Court of Audit is a Supreme Audit Institution of public finance. It has a permanent jurisdictional control on the accounts of public accountants. It performs different kinds of audits on the organisms and departments wholly or partially funded from public funds whether at central, regional or local level, no matter if they got a public or private status. It undertakes evaluation of the strategies and programmes in various socio - economic sectors.
