RESOLUTION ON ROSTER OF THE OAU TECHNICAL CO-OPERATION PROGRAMME


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Twenty- Fourth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 13rh to 21st February, 1975,


Having considered document CM/637 (XXIV) on the roster of experts, consultants, technicians, and workers of the OAU Technical Co-operation Programme,


  1. REQUESTS the General Secretariat to maintain its contacts with Member States with a view to keeping the roster up to date;


  1. APPEALS to Member States, African governmental and non-governmental organizations, the United Nations, Agencies and Institutions of the United Nations family to use the roster of the OAU Technical Co-operation as much as possible;


  1. CALLS on Member States, governmental and non-governmental organizations to use, as a matter of priority, the services of the experts, consultants, technicians and workers of the Programme in the development efforts undertaken on the continent;


  1. EARNESTLY REQUESTS friendly States to use the experts, technicians and workers of the OAU Technical Co-operation Programme in technical assistance programme for the countries of the continent.
