RESOLUTION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INTER -AFRICAN AIRLINE

The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Twenty- Seventh Ordinary Session at Port Louis, Mauritius, from 24 June to 3^rd July, 1976.

Having heard the Report of the Administrative Secretary-General as contained in Document CM/743 (XXVII) and a statement on co-operation and integration of inter-African airline companies submitted by AFCAC;

Recalling Resolution CM/Res. 440 (XXV) on the establishment of an inter-African Airline Company;

Nothing further that only seven States have responded positively to appeals made by the General Secretariat with regard to Resolution CM/Res. 440 (XXV);

APPEALS once again to those Member States which have not yet done so, to respond positively to the said resolution and give their opinion on the establishment of an Inter-African Airline Company while taking into account, if necessary, the work undertaken by AFCAC.
