RESOLUTION ON THE USURPED OF THE TERRITORY OF LESOTHO


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Thirtieth Ordinary Session in Tripoli, Libya from 20 to 28 February, 1978,


Having heard the statement of the Foreign Minister of Lesotho ceded and conquered territory;


Taking Note of Document CM/398 (XXX) Add. 2 on Boundaries Between Lesotho and South Africa with Special Reference to Lesotho’s Territory which has been occupied by South Africa for Over a Century, and Draft Resolution CM/Plan/Draft/Res. 10 (XXX);


  1. DECIDES to refer this matter to the Thirty First Session of the Council of Ministers;



  1. EXPRESSES solidarity with Lesotho.
