RESOLUTION ON OUTSTANDING OR ARREARS OF CONTRIBUTIONS


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Thirtieth Ordinary Session in Tripoli, Libya from 20 to 28 February, 1978,


Having considered the Draft Programme and Budget for the year 1978/79;



Recalling its appeal to all Member States to pay their outstanding contributions in time in order to enable the Secretariat to fulfill its obligations;


  1. DIRECTS the Secretary-General and the Rapporteur of the Advisory Committee to prepare a comprehensive memorandum to be sent to Member States which have not paid their outstanding contributions with a view to appealing to them to settle their arrears without delay;


  1. AGREES to apprise the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the situation at its forthcoming Session.
