OBSERVER STATUS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Fifteenth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 24 to 31 August 1970,
DECIDES to grant observer status with OAU to the following organizations:
Category B: The Lake Chad Basin Commission,
Category C: The Association of Medical Schools in Africa, the Pan-African Youth Movement,
DECIDES to refer to the Sixteenth Ordinary Session of the Council consideration of applications for observer status with OAU submitted by the following organizations:
The Regional Secretariat of Catholic Education for Africa and Madagascar,
The Development Consultants Association,
The Society of African Culture,
On the understanding that, prior to that Session, the Organizations concerned will be called upon to provide all pertinent information to enable the Council to reach a decision on their applications.
