TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE OAU
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Seventeenth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 15 to 19 June 1971,
Considering the forthcoming Tenth Anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity in 1973,
RECOMMENDS:
That the Assembly of Heads of State and Government should establish a programme Committee to plan and organize activities for the celebration of that anniversary,
That the Committee should draw-up a programme for this event, and submit it to the Nineteenth Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers and to the Ninth Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government for approval.
