CM/Res.320 (XXII) RESOLUTION ON THE DELIBERATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE OF 7

The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Twenty Second Ordinary Session in Kampala, Uganda, from 1 to 4 April 1974,


Having taken note of the interim report submitted by thee Chairman of the Committee of Seven on the outcome of the preliminary talks with the countries of the Arab League on the subject of the consequences of the energy crisis (document CM/554)


Requests the Committee of Seven to continue its work and submit a more comprehensive report to the twenty third ordinary session of the Council of Ministers.


Decides that the statement by the Representative of Zaire on the proceedings of the Committee of Seven, the document submitted by the delegate of Tanzania and the documents already adopted by the Committee of Seven should be communicated to all Member States as documents of the Council.


Welcomes the positive reaction of the Arab League and appreciates the atmosphere of cordiality which prevailed during the Cairo meeting between member States of the Arab League and Member States of the OAU Committee of Seven.
