CM/Res.330 (XXII) RESOLUTION ON THE GRANTING OF OBSERVER STATUS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Twenty Second Ordinary Session in Kampala, Uganda, from 1 to 4 April 1974,
Having examined the report of the Secretary General (document CM/550), on the requests for OAU observer status by the Organization of African Trade Union Unity, the Association for Social Education in Africa, and the All Africa Conference of Churches;
Having considered the criteria laid down by the OAU for granting observer status, DECIDES:
that observer status be granted to the Organizatio n of African Trade Union Unity and the Association for Social Education in Africa;
that in view of the fact that no formal application has been received form the All Africa Conference of Churches this matter cannot be considered and that the issue be deferred until the Twenty Third Session of the Council of Ministers.
