RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CENTRE FOR LIGUISTIC AND HISTORICAL STUDIES BY ORAL TRADITION IN NIAMEY


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Twenty Third Ordinary Session in Mogadiscio, Somalia, from 6 – 11 June, 1974,


RECALLING Resolution CM/Res.322 (XXII) concerning the closure of the Publications Office in Niamey and the integration of the Centre for Linguistic and Historical Studies

by Oral Tradition with the OAU General Secretariat adopted by the 22nd Ordinary session of the OAU Council of Ministers held in Kampala, Uganda, from 1 to 4 April 1974,


BEARING IN MIND the fact that in pursuance of resolution CM/Res.322 (XXII), the integration of the Centre for Linguistic and Historical Studies by Oral Tradition in Niamey took effect form 1 June 1974,


CALLS UPON the Administrative Secretary General of the OAU;



  1. to take all the necessary administrative and financial measures to expedite the implementation of resolution CM/Res.322 (XXII);


  1. to report to the 24th ordinary session of the Council of Ministers;
