RESOLUTION ON THE REORGANIZATION OF THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Fifty -fifth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 24 to 28 February 1992,


Having considered the report of the Secretary-General on the reorganization of the General Secretariat (Doc.CM/1691 (LV)),


Aware of the urgent need to reorganize the General Secretariat so as to enable it to carry out more effectively its responsibilities:


  1. APPROVES the proposed reorganization of the General Secretariat and the recommendations contained in Document CM/1691 (LV);


  1. ENCOURAGES the Secretary-General to continue his reorganization efforts in order to increase the efficiency of the Secretariat.
