RESOLUTION ON THE REQUEST BY SHELTER AFRIQUE FOR AN OBSERVER STATUS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Fifty-fifth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 24 to 28 February 1992,
Having considered Document CM/1704 (LV) on the request for an OAU Observer Status made by SHELTER AFRIQUE,
Considering that the objectives of SHELTER AFRIQUE are in consonance with those of the OAU, particularly in the field of housing development and the establishment of financing institutions for housing,
Considering that the request made by SHELTER AFRIQUE is in conformity with the criteria established:
TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Secretary-General on the request by SHELTER AFRIQUE for an OAU Observer Status as contained in Document CM/1704 (LV);
DECIDES to grant the Observer Status of Category “B” to SHELTER AFRIQUE.
