DECISION ON THE STATUS OF THE AU TREATIES

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Report;

  2. COMMENDS the Member States which have signed and ratified/acceded to AU Treaties;

  3. URGES all Member States which have not done so, to urgently ratify or accede to the AU Treaties to which they are not yet parties, as soon as possible;

  4. REQUESTS the Chairperson of the Commission to conclude the consideration of all OAU Treaties to determine their relevance and make appropriate recommendations to Council.
