DECISION ON THE REPORT OF THE INTERIM CHAIRPERSON ON ALTERNATIVE
SOURCES OF FUNDING THE AFRICAN UNION

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Report;

  2. DECIDES that the Report be transmitted to Member States for consideration by their competent departments;

  3. REQUESTS the Commission to update as appropriate, the Study on Alternative Sources of Funding of the AU, taking into account the views expressed by Member States, and to convene a meeting of Experts of Member States to examine the Report and submit recommendations for consideration at the 4th ordinary session of the Executive Council on the Alternative Sources of Funding of the Union.
