DECISION ON THE LAUNCHING OF
THE SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL COMMITTEES

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Progress Report on the launch of the Specialized Technical Committees as contained in the Introductory Note of the Interim Chairperson of the Commission;

  2. WELCOMES the initiative taken by the Commission to launch the Specialized Technical Committees;

  3. REQUESTS the Commission to deepen the study undertaken and to submit same to Member States and the various concerned African Ministerial Sectoral Conferences;

  4. REQUESTS the Permanent Representatives’ Committee to submit a report thereon at the next ordinary session.
