DECISION ON THE SELECTION OF THE AU ANTHEM

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Report;

  2. PROPOSES to the Assembly for Final Selection of the three (3) best works and the original AU Anthem as follows:

  1. OAU Anthem (Rearranged)

  2. Application M 0020 (Modified)

  3. Creation No. CR 001

  4. OAU Original Anthem

  1. RECOMMENDS that the final selected Anthem (scores) be rewritten to give it an African touch (African drums);

  2. ACKNOWLEDGES and THANKS the contributions made by the Panel of Judges.
