DECISION ON THE DRAFT ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL TO
THE OAU/AU CONVENTION ON THE PREVENTION AND
COMBATING OF TERRORISM

The Executive Council:

  1. RECALLS Maputo Decision Assembly/AU/Dec. 15 (II);

  2. REQUESTS the Commission to take the necessary steps to convene a meeting of Government Experts to consider and finalize the Additional Protocol to the OAU/AU Convention on the Prevention and Combating of Terrorism, for adoption by the 5th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and 3rd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Union.
