DECISION ON THE VENUE OF THE FOURTH
MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE OF THE CHINA-AFRICA
COOPERATION FORUM IN 2009

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of Egypt’s offer to host the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in 2009;

  2. STRESSES the importance of the cooperation between the African Continent and the People’s Republic of China, and EXPRESSES SATISFACTION at the current level of cooperation, and the success of the forum since its establishment in the year 2000;

  3. DECIDES to endorse Egypt’s offer to host the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum 2009;

  4. REQUESTS the Chairperson of the Commission to follow up this matter and to submit a report to the 7th Ordinary Session of Council in July 2005.
