DECISION ON THE STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK
FOR A MIGRATION POLICY IN AFRICA

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Strategic Framework for a Migration Policy in Africa;

  2. RECOGNISES the need for further consultation involving the various Ministries dealing with migration matters;

  3. REQUESTS Member States to submit comments/inputs to the Commission by 31st October 2005;

  4. ALSO REQUESTS, the Commission to incorporate these inputs into the draft for finalization and submission to the next Ordinary Session of the Executive Council in January 2006.
