DECISION ON THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE
AFRICAN COMMISSION ON HUMAN AND PEOPLES’ RIGHTS

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Commission on the election for the vacant posts for the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights:

  2. ELECTS the following members of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights:

  1. Mrs. Peine ALAPINI - GANSOU (Benin);

  2. Mr. Musa Ngary BITAYE (The Gambia);

  3. Adv. Faith Pansy TLAKULA (Ms.) (South Africa); and

  4. Mr. Mumba MALILA (Zambia).

  1. RECOMMENDS the elected members of the African Commission on Human and People's Rights to the Assembly for appointment.
