DECISION ON THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE
AFRICAN COMMITTEE OF EXPERTS ON THE RIGHTS
AND WELFARE OF THE CHILD

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Commission on the election for the vacant posts for the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child;

  2. ELECTS the following members of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child:

i Ms. Seynabou Ndiaye DIAKHATE (Senegal);

  1. Mrs. Koffi Appoh Marie-Chantal (Cote d'Ivoire);

  2. Hon. Lady Justice Martha Koome (Kenya);

  3. Mrs. Mamosebi T. PHOLO (Lesotho);

  4. Ms. Boipelo Lucia SEITLHANO (Botswana); and

  5. Shape1

    Mr. Moussa SISSOKO (Mali).

RECOMMENDS the elected members of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child to the Assembly for appointment.
