DECISION ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE OPERATIONS
OF THE PAN-AFRICAN PARLIAMENT

The Executive Council:

  1. TAKES NOTE of the report of the Commission for the period January to June 2005;

  2. NOTES FURTHER that the Pan-African Parliament has been in operation within the framework of the African Union for more than one year;

  3. DECIDES that an audit of its operations be undertaken by External Auditors and a report thereon submitted to the next Session of the Executive Council;

  4. REQUESTS the Commission to prepare the Terms of Reference for the External Auditors and to make the necessary arrangements for the accomplishment of the above task.
