The Institute shall establish and maintain active co-operation with States of the OAU, inter-governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations or institutions (collectively referred to in this Agreement as "Participating States and Organizations" which are desirous of assisting the Institute in achieving its objectives.Part six – Final provisions
Article XV – Amendment of the Agreement
Article XVI – Settlement of disputes
Article XVII – Dissolution
The Institute may be dissolved by agreement of two-thirds of the members of the Conference, at a meeting of the Conference, and, upon such agreement, the Conference shall appoint a sub-committee for the liquidation of the assets of the Institute and prescribe for such a sub-committee its terms of reference.The decision of dissolution shall take effect only after the approval of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the OAU.Article XVIII – Final and transitional provisions
